Half Dome Yosemite National Park is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Having come there from the Grand Canyon just days earlier, the magnificent mountains, trees, and waterfalls were quite an eye-opening change of scenery.
This is one of the most recognized sites in Yosemite, Half Dome. The photo was taken from about half way up the Four Mile Trail, a steep, rugged trail that leaves Yosemite Valley and climbs all the way up to Glacier Point, the highest point in the park.
