Note: Jewel Noxenet and the Gold Warrior or anything close to them is my property. They are characters I made up. So there for I own them. The Rangers on the other hand are property of Saban yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah, and all that legal crap. Get it? Good. Now on with the story!
Jewel ran into the bathroom to get ready for school. It was going to be her first day at Angel Grove High and she was excited. She had just moved to California from Vermont, over the summer, so she was used to the cooler weather.
Her parents had already left for work so she walked to school, since they had both cars. A rush of hot air greeted her as she walked outside.
While Jewel was walking to school a group of teenagers drove by in a red jeep with the music playing loudly. That guy driving the jeep is cute and the one sitting in the back isn't half-bad either, she thought silently.
"Hey who was that?" Adam asked turning around to get another look.
"I don't know. Why don't you ask her," Tanya jealously remarked.
"She's probably new," Kat said. Kat looked at Tanya in surprise, "What?!" she asked innocently.
A half an hour later, Jewel was at the high school. She was overwhelmed by the tremendous size of it, "Man, I'm going to get lost in this school," Jewel remarked after seeing how big it was.
Jewel was just shutting her locker door when someone tapped on her shoulder. She turned around to see a light blonde haired, girl who was practically wearing all pink.
"Hi, I'm Kat. We have biology together," she introduced herself, "You must be new here,"
"Yeah, this is my first day here," Jewel replied a little disgusted by Kat's perkiness. < Pink?! Yuck! I hate pink. It's such a girly color. > Jewel thought quietly to herself.
"Listen, I'm going to meet some of my friends right now," Kat started, "Ya wanna come?" she offered.
"Uhhh...sure I guess,"
"Great, follow..." Kat paused and looked at Jewels clothes. She was wearing a black pair of shorts, jean jacket and white baby-t. Kat hated the color black, but then she spied the shoes on Jewels feet. She had to admit Jewel had style.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing," she said stopping herself from staring, "Come on, this way," she motioned her new friend to follow her.
Meanwhile at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean a submarine shaped like a fish lay idle on the ocean floor. Inside the strange looking vessel Divatox was acing back and forth, trying to think up of a plan to destroy the Rangers for foiling all of her evil plans. "I wonder what those pesky power punks are up to," Divatox remarked, going over to her monitor and turning it on. Almost instantly she got a visual read out on them. Divatox saw Katherine, the pink Turbo Ranger and a strange girl she had never seen before, with the other Rangers. Something about that girl caught her eye. Divatox had the monitor zoom in on the object hanging around the girl's neck.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here," she looked at the object hanging around the girl's neck. It was an odd looking green stone, with a gold band wrapped around it, making it so that it was able to hang off a black leather strap.
"Guys, this is Jewel she's new around here," Kat introduced.
"Who are you talking about?" Tommy asked her.
"What do you mean?"
"There's no one behind you," Tanya answered for Tommy. Kat turned around and Jewel was nowhere to be seen.
"She was just there a minute ago," she told her friends, sounding confused.
"Uhhhh...Kat? Is that Jewel?" Adam asked, pointing over at the door. Kat looked over by the doorway and there was Jewel peering around the corner. Jewel saw Kat and quickly scurried away. Kat ran after her and grabbed her arm.
"Where ya goin?" Kat started to say.
"I...uhhhhh...ummmmmm,"
"Come on," Kat said, dragging Jewel back.
"Hey hon, who's your friend there?" a guy in red, asked Kat.
"This is Jewel she's new here," Kat introduced, "Jewel this is Tommy, she said pointing to the one in the red.
"Hi,"
"Adam," pointing to the one in the green.
"Hi,"
"Tanya," she was the one dressed in yellow. Jewel had to squint to look at her, it was so bright, "And..." Kat was about to say Rocky but she forgot that he had moved away after hurting his back.
"Uhhh...hi," Jewel said surprisingly soft. She looked down at the floor when she said this. Jewel was very shy around strangers; she was really quiet too. Suddenly she heard a beeping noise and the teens looked nervous.
"Ummmm...Jewel, we have to go now. I'll c-ya later, k?" Kat told her new friend.
"Yeah, sure, whatever," she replied glumly.
Tommy, Kat, Adam and Tanya got up and went around the corner and then...
"Come in Zordon I read you," Tommy said into his communicator.
"Rangers, report to the command center immediately,"
"Right, were on our way," with those words flashes of red, pink, green and yellow light rose up and outta the Juice Bar. Inside the command center, Alpha 5 was pacing back and forth, "Aiy yi yi yi yi!" the robot exclaimed.
"Rangers the reason I have called you here is..."
Jewel went for a walk in the park when all of a sudden she was attacked from behind by these strange, slimy, green, half turtle, half reptile things. "Let go of me, you disgusting reptiles!" She screamed at the creatures. Jewel squirmed away from her attackers. They lunged at her and she ducked down and rolled outta the way.
In the command center the alarm went off and the Rangers turned their attention to the viewing globe. On it they saw some kind of creatures attacking Jewel from behind and her fighting them. "Oh no that's Jewel!" Kat exclaimed.
"Hey, where'd she go and who's that?" Adam asked sounding confused. The others looked at the globe and saw someone or something in gold and black, fighting the creatures or was he helping them out?
The power Rangers watched as the stranger in black and gold disappeared into thin air. "What the hell? Where'd he go?" Tommy cried out in astonishment.
The alarm went off again, this time when they looked at the viewing globe there was a monster attacking people in the park.
"Rangers you must stop the monster, but be careful our scanners show its power levels off the charts,"
"What about Justin? Shouldn't we wait for him?" Katherine asked.
"I'll contact him and tell him to meet you guys at the park, good luck and may the Turbo power protect you,"
"Shift Into Turbo!" Tommy called out.
"Desert Thunder Turbo Power!" yelled Adam.
"Dune Star Turbo Power," hollers Tanya.
"Wind Chaser Turbo Power," screams Kat, with way too much enthusiasm.
"Red Lightning Turbo Power," Calls out Tommy.
The teens arrive instantly at the scene of the chaos, just in the nick of time, as usual. "Look over there," Kat says, pointing over by the duck pond.
"That's one ugly lookin dude," a voice from behind the Rangers says. The others turn around to see a taller version of Justin standing behind them.
"Hey ya made it!" Tanya exclaims with a squeal of delight. Adam and Tommy both roll their eyes from behind their helmets. They all just stand there for a moment until Tommy finally says.
"Well are we going to save the world or what?"
"Oh yeah, almost forgot," Tanya replied.
They all rush towards the monster throwing various kicks and punches at it. The monster blocks them all and sends the Rangers tumbling to the ground. Kat calls upon her weapon and begins shoot arrows that look like laser beams when flying through the air.
"Hahahaha! You pathetic Rangers will never beat me, for I am the fiercest and most powerful warrior alive!"
"Excuse me, but you mean the ugliest right?" a voice out of nowhere teases. From out of the shadows the Gold Warrior laughs. The monster shoots a laser beam into the darkness of the shadows but it is reflected and hits the monster.
A figure clad in gold and black cloth walks from out of its hiding place and begins to laugh. "You fool, its going to take more then that stop me,"
"Oh, I didn't realize it was you. My humblest apologies," the monster says kneeling down, "You are the one who is the fiercest and most power warrior alive,"
"Hey, you don't have to tell me that," the Gold Warrior replied and then started walking away.
"Hey, you! Are you going to fight us or what?" Tommy challenged the Gold Warrior.
The Gold Warrior stopped and turned around to look at the Rangers, "Why should I waste my time fighting you?" she asked, starting to laugh. While The Gold Warrior had her backed turned, the monster got up and leaped onto her back making her fall forward onto the ground. Of course he made it look like an accident.
"Get off of me!" she yelled at him. The Gold Warrior kicked the monster and sent him flying.
"Hey, we work together. What did you do that for?" the monster complained and then vanished without a trace.
"That's impossible. I don't work for or with any..." before she could finish the Rangers tackled her. "What's the big idea! Let go! Let me go!" But the Rangers only tightened their grip on her, "Alright fine you want to fight. We'll fight!" she told them and knocked them all backwards with one blow.
Divatox sat in her submarine and watched as the Rangers tried to destroy the new comer. "Now there's someone with power," she observed. Divatox noticed that the stranger didn't have very good fighting skills but his powers made up for it. "They beat him in skill, but then again...maybe not," she said, as the Gold Warrior was standing tall, while the others were on the ground, struggling to get up.
"I don't want to fight, I didn't want to fight in the first place. At least not you guys anyway," The Gold Warrior explained as the leader of the group started walking towards her.
"But you're evil! We have to fight you, its our job," the leader said. The Gold Warrior looked a little hurt by his comment about the evil thing; she turned around a walked away. Suddenly she stopped and looked back, "Evil? Where did you get a silly idea like that?"
Tommy and Adam approached her, while Kat and Tanya stayed back with Justin. The Gold Warrior chewed on her bottom lip from underneath the black cloth covering that hid half of her face.
The red Turbo Ranger noticed that her outfit was kinda like their old ninjetti outfits they used to wear but it didn't have an animal symbol on the front of it.
"The monster said you worked with him, so your evil," The red one said after a moment of silence.
Adam saw the hurt in her eyes and the expression on her face when Tommy made that remark.
"I refuse to fight you,"
"Then you will die," Tommy told her harshly. He raised his sword and charged at the warrior.
"Wait!" The Gold Warrior warned, "You don't know what you're...."
Too late. The red Ranger lashed out at the stranger but was thrown backwards onto the ground by an electrical shock. Adam ran over to Tommy to see if he was ok.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said, sitting up and shaking his head.
"I tried to tell you..." The Gold Warrior recalled.
"But you could have killed him!" Kat yelled at her.
"I warned you, and besides it wasn't me. It was my force field," she told them, whirling around and walking away. Kat and Tanya ran after her, grabbing her by the arms, but she just pushed them aside onto the ground. Justin ran over and helped the girls up, while Adam and Tommy spun the Gold Warrior around and grabbed her arms.
"Let go of me! I'm warning you!" she struggled to get free of their hold but they squeezed her arms even harder at least Tommy did anyway.
"Time to see who you are," Justin decided and reached up to take off her mask. The Gold Warrior flipped backwards and sent the red and green Turbo Rangers flying into each other.
"I don't think so. Better luck next time Rangers," With a flash of gold light she was gone.
"I have feeling we'll be seeing more of him," Tommy said, powering down.
"What makes you think its a guy?" Adam asked his friend.
"Because a girl isn't that strong and doesn't have all those powers or atleast shouldn't,"
"I resent that remark," Kat cried out, putting her hands on her hips.
"Yeah me to, I resemble...I mean resent that mark,"
"Smooth Tommy, real smooth," Tommy mumbled to himself and then ran after the others.
To be continued...
