1 C. butter
1/2 C. confectioners sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 1/4 C. flour
1/4 t. salt
3/4 C. chopped nuts, fine

Heat oven to 400 F. Mix thoroughly
butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in
flour, salt and nuts until dough
holds together. Shape into 1 inch
balls. Place on ungreased cookie
sheet. Bake 10 to 12 min. They will
not be brown. While warm, roll in
confectioners sugar. Cool, roll in
sugar again.
NOTE:
Do not use self-rising flour. These
cookies are not ment to rise.
