A Brief History: Not much is known about his birth, but much of his childhood was spent being raised by his grandmother, who told the young Locke stories of lost treasures and secrets of the past, including the War of the Magi and the first Magitek machines created over a thousand years ago. He eventually was inspired by these stories to become a wandering treasure hunter, and sought to reclaim relics of his world's mysterious past. He eventually met a girl named Rachel, from Kohlingen, and fell in love with her. Rachel, unfortunately, suffered a severe head injury in a fall while adventuring with Locke, and lost all her memories of her love. She came to hate Locke because her parents blamed him for the accident. His heart broken, he left Kohlingen to continue his lifestyle. He eventually learned that Rachel was killed in an Imperial attack on Kohlingen, just after regaining her memory. This may have been one factor contributing to his joining the Returners, thus leading up to the events in the game.
Strange little secrets: The "Steal" command is one of the most useful in the game, and can be used to obtain some truly powerful treasure. Equip the Thief glove to give him "Capture," or the Sneak Ring to make his success rate increase. Also, his Speed and Evade ratings are the highest of any character, which makes him useful for getting the jump on enemies.
My favorite weapon for him: Falchion. It's the perfect sword for a swashbuckling rogue like Locke.
