"I went down to the sacred store where I'd heard the music years before, but the man there said the music wouldn't play. And in the streets, the children screamed, the lovers cried and the poets dreamed..."

Music is a very important thing to me-- you may even go so far as to say that it is who I am ;). Here will be some reviews and other random things that I enjoy that are related to music (wow, what a concept...)

In    and    around    my    player...    (in    no    particular    order...)

1. Indigo Girls- Rites of Passage (the CD that made me an Indigo fan
*winks at Claybear and Tee*)

2. Pearl Jam- Yield (just bought it last night on a whim after hearing
Given To Fly on the radio)

3. Dave Matthews Band- Crash (love it, that's it, just love it)

4. Indigo Girls- Strange Fire (are we sensing a pattern here? *grin*)

5. Sublime- Sublime (check out number 5 if you haven't already...best
song on there)

6. Cake- Fashion Nugget (Great, fun songs that tend to get stuck in your
head, but not in that annoying Spice Girls/Hanson way)

7. Sarah McLachlan- I Will Remember You single (such a sad
song but beautifully written and sung)

8. Fleetwood Mac- The Dance (The new intro to Rhiannon is
my favorite part on there, check it out!)

9. John Lennon- The John Lennon Collection (I found this
in my mom's CD's then claimed it as my own. The
song #9 Dream is haunting and one of my favorites)

10. Pearl Jam- Vitalogy (Borrowed it from my cousin in exchange for a Chicago CD for Better Man but haven't
wanted to part with it yet *wink*)

11. Indigo Girls- 1200 Curfews (Wow, all I can say is wow.
Listening to this was almost a religious
experience for me but more on that later ;)

12. Harry Chapin- The Gold Medal Collection (*waves to Bill*
Bill over there recommended this to me when
I found it in my mom's CD's. Another IRC-bud to thanks for
their great music tastes *grin*)

13. Barenaked Ladies- Stunt (A good friend, Kim, recommended I get this one and boy am I glad I did!
Not only does it have One Week, the rest of the songs
on here are excellent. I have grown especially fond of
I'll Be That Girl)

14. Phil Collins- Both Sides (I'm weird, have weird music tastes, don't ask *grin*.
However, I do highly recommend this CD. The songs Everyday, which did get some radio play, as well as There's A Place For Us are excellent.)

15. Eurythmics- Greatest Hits ("Here comes the rain again, fallin' on my head like a memory...")
