Keeping    Secrets:       Chapter    Three

After that, the day seemed to pass quickly. Soon it was time for Dazia's mom and dad to leave for Oklahoma. Dazia, Erin, Andy, and Mr. and Mrs. Childers drove to the airport. "Mom, call me when you get there, and remember to find out their names." Dazia said. "Okay, Dazi, I'll miss you and Erin." Her mom said. "What about me?" Andy asked feeling left out. "Yeah, Andy, I'll miss you, too." Mrs. Childers said reassuringly. Then Mr. and Mrs. Childers left for the plane. "Now who were you talking about with your mom." Andy asked impatiently. "Don't worry, I'll tell you later." Dazia said knowing how Andy got when she started talking about meeting Taylor. With that Andy got really mad. Dazia could see it in his face. She didn't know what he was gonna do, but she knew it wasn't gonna be good. They drove home from the airport. "I'm going up for a nap, wake me up if mom calls." Dazia said as she walked up the stairs. Dazia went upstairs for a nap. Two hours later, Andy came in and woke her very rudely. "Dazia, get up now." Andy screamed at her. "What?" Dazia asked quite rudely. "What in the hell were you and your mom talking about earlier?" Andy asked just as rudely. "Nothing just leave me alone." Dazia said hoping he would go away. Andy was standing over looking as if he was gonna hit her, and the moment came and he did. He left saying something about going for a walk. She laid there sobbing in her bed, not believe her Andy would ever do anything like he had just done. Erin came upstairs and heard her sister crying. She opened the door to ask Dazia what was wrong. She saw the red mark Andy had left on Dazia's face. "Oh my god, Dazia, what happened?" Erin asked shocked. "He wanted to know what mom and I were talking about at the airport, which I think you know about, and when I wouldn't tell him he hit me." Dazia said sobbing. "I'm so sorry." Erin said hoping Dazia would stop crying, she hated seeing Dazia cry. "Go downstairs, and lock all of the doors. I don't think Andy has his key. When you're done, come back up because I want to talk to you." Dazia commanded. Erin did as she was told knowing Dazia was in pain. At that moment, the phone rang. Dazia picked it up not recognizing the number on the caller ID. "Hello?" Dazia said as she picked up the phone. "Dazi, it's me, mom, just wanted to call and let you know we got here Okay. Hey, hold on, someone wants to talk to you." Her mom said "Hello?" a sweet male voice said as he got on the phone. "Hi." Dazia said being shy. "I'm Taylor, I'm your next door neighbor, here in Tulsa. I was just wondering how you want your room set up. Cause my dad gave me the job of fixing up your room." Taylor said liking the voice he had just heard. "You do know someone shares a room with me, right?" Dazia said hoping he would think she had another sister instead of a boyfriend. "Yeah, I know you're mom has told me, hang on your mom wants to talk to you again." Taylor said disappointed. "Okay," Dazia said just as disappointed as Taylor. "Hi, Dazi, can talk to your sister?" Her mom said sensing disappointment from her daughter. "Yeah, sure, here she is." Dazia said as Erin walked into the room. Erin left the room. Dazia wondered what Erin was telling their mom. Ten minutes later, Erin came back in, her eyes were red, but she was smiling. "Dazi, Taylor wants to talk to you again." Erin said smiling. "Hello?" Dazia said happy she was gonna get to talk to Taylor again. "Hi, it's me, again, I wanted to tell you that you sound really cute and I can't wait to meet you, Zac wants to talk to you." Taylor said. "Hello?" Zac said as Taylor gave him the phone. "Hi Zac, hang on, talk to Erin." Dazia said as she handed the phone to Erin. Dazia heard someone banging at the door. She knew it was Andy. "Dazia, open the door, I'm really sorry, I don't know what I was thinking." Andy said from outside the door. Like a fool, she opened the door. Andy cuddled her in his arms, but she pushed him away. "Andy, don't you ever hit me again, if you do I swear I'll leave you in a heartbeat. Is that clear?" Dazia said in a serious tone. "Dazi, it's clear, I'm so sorry, sweetie, it'll never happen again." Andy said as he tried to cuddle her again. "Dazia, Zac wants to talk to you again." Erin said as she came down the stairs. "Hello?" Dazia said she got back on the phone. "Hi Dazi. So when are you guys leaving?" Zac said in a happy tone. "We'll be leaving in a week." Dazia said happier than before. "Well, I have to go for now, see ya then." Zac said. "Bye, Zac." Dazia said. "Bye, Dazia." Zac said. It was 6:30 p.m., and everyone was hungry. "Hey, guys, wanna get something to eat?" Andy said trying to break the tension. "Yeah, let's go somewhere nice." Dazia said. "Meet us down here in twenty minutes, Erin." Andy said "Okay, Andy, don't get so uptight." Erin said. When Andy and Dazia got upstairs , he started bugging her again with his questions. "Who's Zac?" Andy said. "He's our neighbor in Tulsa, why?" Dazia said wondering why Andy was so into finding out about who she was talking to. "I was just wondering, How old is Zac?" Andy asked being suspicious. "He's 13 like Erin. You know Zac Hanson, right?" Dazia said trying to get him off her back. They went to dinner, came home, and went to sleep.
