Return to Concert Reviews Index The Twila Experience December 4, 1998: I showed up at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City, Florida around 6:30 PM, an hour before the show was supposed to start. I was nervous because I was scared that maybe Twila forgot to save some tickets for me at the "will call" ticketbox. When I got to the ticketbox I told them my name and they handed me an envelope. It had two tickets and backstage passes. I was happy about that. My friend and I then went to see our seats. They were very nice. The show started at 7:30. They all came out singing "Joyful, Joyful." The
concert schedule went in this order: They all did an awesome job! After the concert, I went to backstage. My friend and I showed the bodyguard our passes and he let us through. A guy asked me once I was in who I wanted to see. I told him Twila Paris. He got her for me. While we were waiting, I got my friend to hold my camara. I was a little nervous. She walked out and asked if I was Chris. I said yes. I have to admit I was happy to hear she knew and remembered my name. She thanked me for the webpage. We talked about her husband and how he's doing a lot better (she and him are on a new diet), and her sister Angie (how I had met her previously). She asked me where I was from and other small stuff like that. We didn't talk for a whole long time, but it was really nice that I was able to chat with her for a little bit.
