ForBeadin Desires Embellishment Fund

Congratulations to this year's WINNERS!

Hello! Please let me thank you for taking the time to visit this page! THANKS! Now, I'll explain why it is here, what it's for, and how you can help!

We are the members of the Onelist bead list ForBeadin_Desires. We have over 150 members and are growing stronger every day. Our list is made up of some of the best bead artists on the net, and we all consider each other family. And, when a family member is feeling low, we all try to help, in whatever way we can.

As some of you may know, Embellishment, a giant bead show put on by Quilts, Inc. is once again in Portland, Oregon this June. What we'd like to do is send one of our much loved beady buddies (to be nominated and voted upon by our list members and announced soon!) on a weekend trip to the show! And we're going to do it in the best way we know how: by selling our beadwork, wirework, leatherwork, and any other type of wonderful thing we can think of! Oh, and of course, we'll also be selling BEADS!

So, you can help in three ways;
1. Visit one of our auctions and place a bid on one (or more!) of the wonderful and beautiful things you'll find there!
2. Donate a piece of your OWN work or beads for us to auction!
3. Write us a check or a money order in ANY amount you wish!

Now, does this sound reasonable? If so, and if you'd like to help, what you can do is this;

-If you'd like to donate money or an item to auction, send a us a note and we'll tell you where to send it.

-If you'd like to look at our auctions to see what goodies you can find, just Click Here!

See? That's all there is to it! If you think you can help, please accept our thanks in advance!

Donations ARE being accepted via the email addresses below.
Please come back soon to be updated.

Audrey Sunburn and Miki Robinson

This year we collected over $100 in donations! Thank you to everyone who donated items and bid on our auctions!

After many months of ups and downs, we ended our vote in a tie! Since we hadn't taken this possibility into consideration, our two winners came to the decision of splitting the prize. That allowed about $50 to each winner. Audrey and Miki decided the best way to handle it would be for Miki, who lived close enough to drive to Portland, to go to the show and buy some special items to send to Audrey later on. So that's what they did, and it seems to have worked out well for everyone!

Thanks again to everyone who contributed and congrats to our winners!!

Now, let's get ready for NEXT year!!
