" Here Is A Little More Of Michigan"

I live here in northern Michigan, In Presque Isle county.We are right on Lake Huron and it very nice here.The name of the town is Roger City.We have alot of differnt thing's to do, and plenty of place's to go.To the north of us is Mackinaw City. That is a real nice place to visit, you so many thing's to do and see.Here back in Rogers City, during the late spring and early summer we have alot of fishing going on. We have samlon,lake trout,brown trout,and steel head. We do all of that in lake Huron. Then we have a lot of inland lake's where, they fish for large,small mouth bass,northern pike,and a lot of differnt type's of pan fish.Then we have what we call the color season, that come's in the Fall. That is when all the tree's change there color's,that make's the most beautiful time of the year.Then come's Mr. WINTER,that last the longest of the whole year.Out of the 12 month's it is here 5 to 7 month's of the year.That is also a beautiful time of the year. I will have some differnt thing's here on Michigan.

This here is our back yard, after we had a snow storm the day before.It drop about 8" of snow that day and all that night. Belive it or not there are two dog's out there,the one you can make out. And the other one is at his nose, that little brown spot is the other one.

Here you are looking at Lake Huron, The lake is about frozen over and there is and was a bad snow storm coming in and that one drop about 6" of snow. Last year we had 156" of snow. And to some people that is a lot of snow.

This is what we call a ice breaker, This here is the Ice cutter Mackinaw. It take's care of the ice in the great lake's,It keep's the water's open throuhg the winter time so the lake frieghter's moving through the winter season. That is a real neat site to see when the lake's are full of ice.

"The Winter Time In Michigan"

Here in northern Michigan during the winter time we still find thing's to do.We have a lot of winter event's going on,such as, ice fishing,skating,cross country skiing,snowmobiling.And just driving around and looking at the different thing's you can find such as elk playing and people getting ready for a winter hay ride.

Here we see two elk that are testing them self's,they are trying to find out who is better of the two of them.

And know we are getting together for a nice winter day hay ride.They are a lot of fun to go on and there are many trail's to go on,and a lot of real nice thing's to see and do on these hay ride's.It remind's me of that old saying,"OFF TO GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE WE GO".So if you every get the change for a winter hay ride, You must take it.
