Paladin World View
Why is there evil in the world? Why are good men punished and evil men rewarded? Why does this system seem so scewed up?
Welcome to Earth, one of Creation’s most beautiful prisons. Souls have come here for countless ages to percieve the beauty, and have become trapped. Do not look for a jailer, however. do not look for judge. We trapped ourselves, each and every one of us. Even those of us who call ourselves ‘good’ even those of us who call ourselves ‘honorable’ got trapped here because of what we saught. What did we seek? Sensation. This is a world of wonder, is it not? Do you not see the beauty in it? Do you not feel the exhilaration in its expanses and its glories? What about what we have today? Do you like the lights and the sounds? The rides? The music? Even the chemicals, the sex, all of it. Would you do without it? I wouldn’t. That is what trapped me here. That is what traps so many. We forget that there is so much more to see, so much more to experience. This world is beautiful, it is wonderful, it is awe-inspiring, and it is a ball of dirt hanging in a tiny corner of Creation. Dominion A soul is a powerful thing. Each and every one of us is the unknowing wielder of forces we can only barely imagine. To many of us, it is a thrill to use even teh smallest fraction of that power. Yet there is one drawback. Every other soul is our equal. The ultimate conquest, then is to control the actions and destinies of other souls, is it not? To put yourself above another and guide their course of existance. This is Dominion, it is the Name of all that is Truly Evil, and there is hardly a one of us who is not guilty. The law of the universe is Free Will, that each soul may do as it will, knowing all its choices, and the outcome of each choice. Over the course of our lifetimes, that Free Will has been robbed from us, and that is the greatest crime of Eternity. Think about this, if you would. Are you in a position of control? Are you in a position of power? Do you control the lives and destinies of other people? Do you make choices for those around you? Do you take pleasure in this? That is Dominion, and its lure. |
So why is the system so screwed up? The system is designed by mortals. Get that straight. Things did not heppen here by accident, or by devine intervention, but mortal men and women made decisions. Why did they make the decisins they did? Because of why they came here. The system is designed so that those who crave Domnion can exploit those who crave Sensation. You might want to pause for a moment and think about that. Do things become any clearer now? Doesn’t the system make a lot more sense now? It is working perfectly, if you know what it is designed to do. And now you can guess why good men are punished and evil men are rewarded, right? ‘Evil’ people are those who crave Dominion, but we are living in a system that was built for them. It is Thier system. Those of us who act out of kindness, who try to share instead of control, who try to allow for free will are punished, bacause this system was not built for us.
