The Story: Episode 1

The basic plot is that a powerful company called Kronos, through a geological dig, unlocks the technology to transform humans into monsters called Zoanoids. One of their scientists steals their only three Guyver Units, a Bio-booster armor many times more powerful than any Zoanoid in strength and physic ability. A team of Zoanoids goes after the scientist and in the action the scientist blows himself up and sends all of the Guyver units flying.

Walking home from school two friends, Tetsuro and Sho, find one of the units and Sho gets transformed into a Guyver. The Zoanoids see Tetsuro and try to kill him but Sho with the Guyver bio-booster armor destroys the Zoanoids without even trying. Thus ends the first episode.

Episode 2

It begins with Sho finding these two marks on his back, which communicate with the Guyver whenever Sho needs to use it. At school Tetsuro and Sho get picked up by these two guys who claim to be police officers, but they are really agents of Kronos, and they take them to a broken down construction site. There they are met by Lisker, a man who was sent by Kronos Headquarters to see that the Guyver units be safely transported from Japan and when inspecting one of the units became a Guyver. Lisker tries to persuade Sho to return with him to Kronos but Sho refuses so they fight. Somehow Sho manages to win with blind luck by damaging Lisker's Control Metal and using the Mega Smasher to finish him off.

Episode 3

In Episode 3 Commander Guo (one of the Kronos Elite) arrives in Kronos Japan to oversee and if neccesary take charge, of the organization. Mr. Makishima (the father of Agito Makishima), in a desperate attempt to redeem himself for his past failures, uses his so-called "Hyper-Zoanoid", called Zerabubus.

Kronos lures Sho into a wharehouse by capturing Mizuki, Tetsuro's sister and the girl Sho has a crush on. Sho goes and and rescues Mizuki with the help of Guyver III, who is really Agito Makishima but nobody know this yet, who destroys Zerabubus. With Mr. Makishima's third failure, he loses his postion and will be killed or become a Zoanoid. Commander Guo then takes command of Kronos Japan and continues the ongoing quest to capture the Guyver units.

Episode 4

In this Episode Sho and Tetsuro go to the press (newspaper) and try to explain their predicament, but they do not belive them so Sho calls on the Guyver and they all become belivers, but soon after (approxamately 5 min.) the office is bombed by Kronos. Then Commander Guo arranges an attack on Sho's school by the Hyper Zoanoid- team 5, they are the real "Hyper Zoanoids". Team 5 completely destroy the school and kill many of the sudents. Sho calls on Guyver once again but this time he gets a near-death experience, and if it were'nt for Guyver III comming to his rescue it would not have been a NEAR-death. The two Guyvers manage to take down two of the Hyper-Zoanoids and the remaining three are called back by Guo.

Episode 5

By now Kronos, becoming very impatient with the capture of the Guyver units, creates a new Zoanoid called Enzyme (a zoanoid created to dissolve the Guyver armor). Mr. Makishima is used as a test subject in the creation of Enzyme. Sho is lured into the forest when Kronos kidnaps Tetsuro and Mizuki. There he is faced by Mr. Makishima, who believes that Sho was the reason for his loss of position. To make matters worse he has no reservations about death because his zoanoid body was not completed and he will most likely die within a week unless Kronos completes the process of adjustment. In other words: he is already dead. There Guyver and Enzyme fight to the death, Guyver does manage to blow off half of Enzyme's head but he comes back and pulls out Guyver's control metal. Commander Guo then, through psychic control, controls the Guyver's corpse and destroys Enzyme.
