Well, I finally decided to journal again. Just a quick catch up.

As I am sure most of you know, my dad passed away from cancer last July. We buried him on his and Ma's 49th wedding anniversary. The holidays were hard without either parent, but I managed to get through them.

My sister and I joined Weight Watchers together on 18 Sep of last year. Since then I have lost 25.8 pounds (was 27.2, but I gained 1.4 over the holidays). I am now down to 216.6 pounds. I can't wait til I get to 199.8 pounds. It will be the first time in 17 years I have been below 200 pounds. I know I can do it this time. Joining with my sister has made all the difference in the world. The moral support is great. I also think my mind set is a whole lot different this time. I used to say "if" I get below 200 pounds. This time I am saying "when" I get below 200 pounds. I just know I can do it this time. I know it won't be easy and will take a long time; but I CAN do it.

I will try to keep this up on a regular basis, but will at least journal every Wednesday to let you know how I did at WW that week.

213 That was my weight on Tuesday when I weighed in at WW. Down another 3.6 pounds. Only .4 pounds to go to lose 30 pounds.

I am going to need new bathing suits soon for a couple of reasons. For one, the ones I have are getting too big. For two, I wear them every day at work and the bromide they put in the water in the therapy tank just eats them up. The elastic is really going in the ones I have. I was at Walmart tonight and saw they have some out already; so I will probably get a couple of new ones when I get paid again.

One of the things I have been doing to keep from nibbling in the evenings is cross stitch. I did a whole lot of things for Christmas, and now I am working on baby things for a couple of women down at work. You sure can't eat and cross stitch at the same time because you don't want to get your work dirty.

My daughter, Jai, graduated from the Cecil County School of Technology yesterday. She was taking Culinary Arts. Now she will be full time at her home school. She is taking dance, psychology and English this semester. She will also be a teacher's aide in her old photography class for one period. I can't believe she graduates from school in June. It seems like only yesterday she was starting Kindergarten. Then I will only have one child left in school. Timothy is in ninth grade this year.

Well, enough for now. Will update later. Keep the faith ;) Keep the faith ;)
