Sorry it has been so long since I have updated. Things haven't been going so well. It is taking me longer to recover from my surgery than I expected. I am still in some pain and just plain feel tired. Also, I was put on estrogen and have regained 12 of the 45 pounds I lost. I am told that my body will eventually get used to the estrogen and I will start losing again. When in the heck will that happen.

My youngest son got his driver's license on 21 Feb. We had the day off from school because of snow and his daddy took him up in his truck. The windows are tinted, and although it is legal to drive on the road that way, they wouldn't let him take the test in his. So Yobo called me and I took my Trailblazer up. Poor Tim had only driven it twice for a total of about 2 miles and had never parallel parked it. It didn't matter because he passed with flying colors. When I asked him how it felt to drive by himself for the first time, he said it was scary. (By the way, it wasn't still snowing by then and the roads were clear. We should have just started 2 hours late that morning and not wasted a whole snow day. Now we have about five of them to make up, depending on what they do about the ones when MD was under a state of emergency. It is possible we won't have to make those days up. We have already made up three. They took away 2 days of Christmas break and we lost a professional day this upcoming Friday. That day will be added on the end of the year for teachers and instructional assistants.)

Keep the faith:) I will try to be more faithful about journalling.

Sorry, I didn't realize that a whole week had gone by. With everything going on, I have kinda lost track of time. I know the family of the one guy from Baltimore who went down in the chopper this week. It has been very hard on them.

Went to WW and finally lost 2 pounds this week instead of gaining. Had gained back 12 pounds since being put on estrogen, but hopefully am back on the losing track again. Keep the faith :)
