Chapter Eleven

                              Chapter Eleven
					The Stars
(told from Ike's point of view)
I sat staring up at the sky. Earlier I had Zac out here with me and was
trying to teach him about the constellations. Above Orion the mighty hunter
and Cassoipeia the great queen twinkled in the sky as they rotated around
Polaris. Zac had become impatient and had decided to go read some fan mail.
He had been acting very strange lately. I had seen him talking to the thin air
and I saw him tyoing up some strange story and sending it off to be published.
I just hope it wasn't the story he told me.
So it was just the stars above me that kept be company on this bitter
early November night. Agian I looked up, the distinct W of Cassoipeia
seemed to twsit, but i thought it was jsut my imagination. I closed my eyes
and just sat there thinking about nothing important, just stupid stuff, like
where the hell did my cool pair of sunglasses go? When I opened my eyes
again it was bright out. I was lying in the soft grass of some open thicket in
the middle of dense woods. Then a young man, only a few years older than
me came out of the thick woods.
"Do you pledge honor to the royal Queen Alora or to the evil feind
Alcastor?"
"What are you talking about? Where am I?"
"You are on Exeter, third planet from sun Aldebron."
	"Aldebron, that's not a sun, it's a star."
"It's our planets sun. Why you poor fool you know nothing of the
history of our planet or of the civil war that we are in the grips of. I must take
you to the Queen to determine what to do with you."
All I know is that he grabbed my arm firmly and pulled me into the
dark woods.
