WEEKLY TOURNAMENTS

Club meetings are held every Tuesday. The results of each tournament are reported to the national Grass Roots organization. Points are awarded for winning games and are accumulated during the year. Two points are awarded for each game won and winning by a skunk earns three points. The players scoring in the top positions at each meeting win a pay out from the prize fund which is taken from the nightly entry fee. In the event of a tie for the most games points, the number of games won is the first tie breaker. If necessary, the second tie breaker is the net difference in plus and minus points for nine games. No gambling is allowed by the ACC.

The club welcomes peggers of all skill levels. There are no performance standards that must be met to play at the club. However, we have determined that each game should not run over 20 minutes in duration. This is the only requirement that we have for all new players. Most of our players need to get up early the next morning. Please help to keep this schedule.

The Germantown Peggers Club holds a 9 game tournament every Tuesday evening that starts promptly at 7:00 P.M. We recommend that you arrive at 6:30 P.M. so that we may review procedures and game rules. Our tournament's follows all the rules as governed by the ACC. Rule books are available for $2 from the ACC.
