Smiling is infectious,

   you catch it like the flu,

When someone smiled at me today,

I started smiling too.


 


I passed around the corner,

and someone saw my grin.

       When he smiled I realized,

I'd passed it on to him.


        


I thought about that smile,

then I realized its worth,

A single smile, just like mine,

could travel round the earth.





So, if you feel a smile begin,

don't leave it undetected.

Let's start an epidemic quick,

and get the world infected!

A Thought

A smile's not the only thing,
that we could start to spread.
A good deed is another one,
that pops into my head.



If someone needs a helping hand,
no matter what it be,
Give it to them graciously,
But tell them there's a fee.


The fee is when they see someone,
who needs a helping hand,
to give it to them graciously,
then make THEM understand:




If someone needs a helping hand,

but tell them about the fee.



If everybody pays their debt,
It wouldn't take long to see,
We've spread an epidemic,
of kindness and generosity.

And if we are successful,
there's one thing I know for sure.
I will be praying every night
that they never find a cure!
