An Elemental Fairie

An elemental fairie
Dancing in the night
Shrouded, gleaming, elfish
In the pale moonlight

Nimble, spritely, sharpened nose Dressed in gauze and silver wisps Shimmering head to toe Choreography light and quick

Clustered violets tickling toes Fragrance heady, deep To the wind with caution thrown The mystery in fragrance steep

I am the Wind I breathe of life Sometimes calm with love I send Sometimes betides great fright

Another spoke I am of Fire And danced with flickering madness Into creation, born of flames and feed desire Yet may portend deep pain and sadness

Wending, as frolicking in the wave I am Water, one he said Essential to creation, brave Embrace me too he said

I am a child of Earth it seems Clad in velvet, misty green I am renewal, growth and trees My mortal form is rarely seen

They look into the circle's center Bowed to Spirit there and say You bind us, link our souls as mentor To make the pentacle so it's said

Four elemental fairies Holding hands in meadow charmed Spirit smiles, watches over them Keeps them safe from harm
