Death As Rebirth
Death is the end of this life. It serves as the gateway to a spiritual
gathering place where we process the events of the life that has just ended.
It is the entry to the choosing of a new existence here and on other planes
or places to grow our souls.
We die and fear as we breathe no more, then realize we don't need to breathe
and awaken to an old familiar state of pure being where there is no fear.
In this life now, we fear the unknown for we are not to know of this existence
on a conscious level as the simple knowing might interfere with our soul's
tasks here. We could not experience raw, bald emotion so knowing. If we
think this is all there is we will live differently than if we are simply
"biding time."
Some souls are more attuned to growth process while others require a
considerable number of lives to grow even slowly. There are some souls bent
on straying from the True Path and call ill serve the world in positions
of power.
Most souls are bent on the True Way, each a differentiated personality in itself.
Regardless of the goal, the soul grows toward its destination, good or
destructive. Most strive for wisdom, enlightenment, goodness with the end
goal being the hope of the attainment of perfection.
At some point after a number of incarnations, some souls fulfill their
spiritual goals, although it may take many trials. Not all souls are reincarnated
immediately although that may happen. There may be many years between incarnation,
perhaps centuries, while others may occur within minutes to hours.
Those souls having completed the long journey may choose between an eternal
existence as perhaps an angel or other celestial being but many return to
share their wisdom with us such as in a position of power, stated or
unstated, prominent or understated and we are drawn to such individuals.
They touch our lives.
Can you think of any Old Souls at work today making changes
in the world at large or in your personal world?
As Old Soul on the True Path may have remembrances the rest of the
others do not for his consciousness is deep and full and exudes memories,
feelings and thoughts. I occasionally meet people or see them on the news
who seem to be Old Souls. His aura is strong. People or animals may be
drawn to him as a magnet. He commands respect and veneration with words
and deeds but does not ask for it and may live in great humility and poverty.
He knows the existence here is just one of many, a task to be fulfilled,
and does not seem to be affected by the pursuit of or lack of material things.
