Description:
Also known as the descant, the soprano recorder is the most common
and well known of all recorders. It is often used in classroom settings
for its smaller size (appox. 12 inches in length) and because most models
have a very manageable tone. It is fingered in C with a range of
C' to D''' and is usually written one octave lower than sounded.
