Description:
Fingered in C, with a range beginning at Middle C and stretching to
D'' (two octaves above middle C,) the tenor is very good
for filling out chords with its soft, melodious sound. They may or
may not be keyed--that is, have keys to cover the low C and low C# holes.
The model pictured above (Yamaha 300 series) is keyed. The tenor
averages 24 inches in length and tends to require the greatest finger spread
to play.
