dance card is "Sailor Moon," a live-action
version of the popular Japanese animated
series. Disney is now in rights negotiations
with the series' Japanese distributor.

Although Geena Davis and Renny Harlin broke off their marriage,
they seem to want to continue their business relationship.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the pair is developing an adaptation of Sailor Moon, a popular Japanese cartoon.
Davis may star as Queen Beryl, an evil monarch who has destroyed at least one planet.
The film focuses on four high school girls who discover that they are really from another planet,
which no longer exists, thanks to Beryl.
The girls have been placed on Earth to kick her evil butt.
Sailor Moon will be a co-production by the Forge and DIC Entertainment for Disney Pictures.
