Neat Picture isn't it.

Editoiral: The tranformation of an American DBZ fan. Alternate title the Super magaical happy journey (kidding).

Notice all the editorials lately well 2 new ones but HEY 2 more than before. This is more so an essay then an editorial well almost a story. I got into DBZ almost to keep up with friends. I was tired of hearing my friends talk about this show. So I decided to watch it. So on a faithful day in March or late February I watched my first episode of Dragon Ball Z. It was an episode during the Nappa fight at the very beginning, I don't remember the title. I didn't know it was edited, I honestly thought this is how it was originally. Well, it was also at this time I decided to do a website. I had no idea how to and had no idea what to do it on. Anywho I decided to do a DBZ site. hence Goku's World was born. But I am diverging. During a conversation with a friend of mine I learned DBZ was censored. I was shocked, how bad could it be. Well, flash forward a little to when I buy World's Strongest. I loved it, I like it being uncensored but I was still to learn what real DBZ was like. All this time I was awaiting my fansub of movie 12. Flash forward to two weeks ago. After much waiting I received Rebirth of Fusion. I was skeptical about the voices thinking they would really suck. But then I watched it and was blown away. The voices fit the characters so well except King Kai but after hearing the new dub voice I could like the Japanese. It was so much better. My conversion was complete. My view on DBZ and anime had changed and DBZ left its status as an embarrassing childish pleasure. DBZ was aimed at teens and older it was for a mature audience. Now some ranting. Funimation is pretty powerful if they can take such a great anime and turn it into at times sheer crap. C'mon how could you turn such a great show into dribble stripped of all meaningful content. Argggg.TRY HARDER GIVE THE FANS WHAT WE WANT. REAL DBZ IN AMERICA. Well that was my ranting hoped you liked this editorial.

Son Gohan.
