All About Me

Then

I was born on Sept. 17, 1981.  I lived in a very small town in Alabama called Haleyville. I went to the elementary school there in grades K-2.  When I was 7 my parents divorced.  My mother and I moved to a town in NW Alabama called Florence.  I attended Hibbett school in grades 3-8.  During this time I became a band member (playing clarinet), I was a girl scout, and I belonged to a few clubs. After 8th grade my mother remarried and we moved across the Tennessee River to the town of Sheffield.  I attended Sheffield High School and graduated there in May of 1999. I left my house in Oct. of 1999.  I moved in with BJ and his family for a little while.  I lived in their basement.

Now

I'm currently in getting my master's degree in nursing at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. I am now working as a home health nurse.  I've been an RN a little over a year now.  I will graduate UAH in December of this year, then will become a nurse pracitioner.  BJ and I have set a wedding date of October 15, 2005.  I'm currently working on a page about the wedding planning.

A Few Of My Favorite Things

Music

I can't live without music.  You shouldn't ask me what type of music is my favorite, that's too complicated.  The best question to ask me is what don't I listen to.  I don't do country, bluegrass, and gospel.  I love a wide variety of music.  I listen to literally every other type of music. 

Hobbies

I love computers and the internet.  I'm totally into my digital camera, and my web cam.  I love photography.  I'm into antiques and collectibles.  I love to read and I write poetry and short stories. I'm into genealogy and history stuff.  I'm going to be working on my genealogy this summer and may do a page on it. I love to watch tv sometimes.  My favorite shows are "ER" and "Scrubs". I also love movies.  

Travel

I have had the pleasure of going on a couple of awesome trips.  I went to Hawaii in 1985 when I was 4.  I went to Hawaii again to visit my stepsister in 1998 when I was 16.  In 1999, my father and I went to Grand Cayman Island in the Carribean. I will soon be making pages about these locations and the trips.

Latest News About Me

I just started my final semester of graduate school at UAH.  I just recently started working with home health after 8 months at the second hospital I worked for.  I'm burned out on school and work, and I'm ready to graduate.

I've been really busy studying, going to work, and doing clinicals.  That is all the news I have on me now.
