KEY VERSE: Ephesians 6:10-12

TEMPTATION: What does it mean? A personal desire to (or the attempt to persuade someone else to) be involved in some sinful or wrongful act!

1. What do we know about temptation?

╖ Everyone has the problem of temptation Е.. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13
╖ It's a very effective tool of Satan. Е Genesis 3:1-4
╖ God does not tempt us to sin Е Е James 1:13-14
╖ Temptation by itself is not a sin Е James 1:15

2. Common false conclusions made in regard to temptation:

╖ Temptation fades with spiritual maturity!
╖ You can eliminate many sin habits once and for all! ( Satan will always test you using time)
╖ Eventually everyone falls during temptation!

3. Examples of temptation: 1 John 2:15-17

╖ Examples of lust of the flesh, eyes and the pride of life from the Bible.
