SOME OF THE HOMEOWNERS WE HAVE WORKED WITHIN THE ST. LOUIS AREA

G.S. did not have the $10,000 needed to reinstate their mortgage. They had filed Chapter 13 two times before. A real estate investor said the most he could offer for their house was $15,000 less than the $43,000 they owed the bank. They became clients of C. P. Kenley Co. and were able to avoid foreclosure and to continue living in their home.

B.R. lost her job due to a company merger. Although she continually looked for a job she could not find a company paying job. As a single mother she was in a very difficult position. She was only able to get seasonal jobs. She and her children lived on her unemployment checks and food stamps. She filed but was not able to complete Chapter 13 two times. Although she was finally able to get a good job, she was facing foreclosure again due to her inability to make her Chapter 13 and mortgage payments at the same time. At this point she was 21 months behind on her mortgage payments and needed almost $22,000 to reinstate her mortgage. This was about $20,000 more than the $80,000 she had paid for their house 2.5 years earlier. She became a client of C.P. Kenley Co. She was able to continue to live in their home.

C.W. had some business problems which caused him to get behind on his mortgage payments on his $1.5 milliom home. The amount needed to reinstate the mortgage was over $60,000. Unfortunately he made some statements to the lender which hurt his case and he was turned down. He then became a client of C.P. Kenley Co. Although the foreclosure was stopped his case became much more costly and difficult to resolve.

H.S. had major medical problems which resulted in the loss of time at work and major bills. They got behind on their mortgage payments and were facing foreclosure. They became clients of C.P. Kenley Co. There were able to avoid foreclosure and to continue to live in their home.

L.D. needed $12,000 to reinstate the mortgage on their $190,000 house. Unfortunately, she made some statements to the lender which hurt her case before she became a client of C.P. Kenley Co. Although the foreclosure was stopped, her case became much more costly and difficult to resolve.

A.W. was seven mortgage payments behind and facing foreclosure on her $95,000 home when she became a client of C.P. Kenley Co. Although her expenses were higher than her income, we were able to develop a plan for her to avoid foreclosure and to continue to live in her home.
