The Directors Cut features three versions of Resident Evil: Two versions of the original (Training and Standard), and Advanced (The Directors Cut). While Training and Standard feature nothing new, Advanced is where everything is at. Vital items such as Herbs and Ammo have been lessened, and important items such as keys have been moved around. New camera angles and character outfits have also been added. But most importantly, the difficulty has been greatly imporved, giving us hardened Resident Evil veterans a great challenge to overcome.

A great game for any Playstation library.

Odd occurences have been happening in the woods of Raccoon City, a small yet peacefull american town. Mangled remains of dead bodies have been recovered from rivers and Hiking Trails of the Forest area, and Coroners reports conclude that the attackers were large animals with Storng jaws. Eyewitness' reports also say that Mutated "Dog Like" animals have been roaming around the Forests.........

Eventually, the Raccoon City Police Department closed down the Forest area and sent in the SWAT team to investigate. They were also overcome by the menace infesting the woods. Thats when the S.T.A.R.S. team was called in. The Bravo Team was sent in, and they were never heard from either. The Alpha Team was the last hope, and they too were sent in to investigate.

Upon arrival, the STARS team found the Helicopter of Bravo team, although nobody was to be found. The STARS team decided to search, but one of them was attacked by a Mutated Dog. The remaining Four dashed for safety and stumbled upon a Secluded Mansion that seemed hidden in the woods......... Will they survive?? That is up to you.
