NEWS
*According to Yahoo! Internet Life, the October 29th Hanson Yahoo! Chat was the most-attended for 1999. Pretty cool! They did it again. :)

*Read the latest Hanson news in MTV Online about their new album, "Hanson Wrapping Up New Album."

*For more online articles about the new album, just go to the following: Jam Showbiz, Sonic.net, Spin.com, VH1.com, Dotmusic.com, Channel V, and Allpop.com.

*Blues.net had this to post, but keep in mind that some are just rumored info., so we just have to wait until we get the real confirmation about the new album:
John Popper to appear on new Hanson album. The next story reaches BluesTraveler.Net today though it happened a few weeks ago. John Popper joined Zachary, Taylor and Isaac Hanson in the studio to lay down some harmonica tracks for the band's follow up to their smash album Middle of Nowhere. The new album is rumored to be named Runaway Run and will be out next spring. John will be featured on one track, according to fan sites. Popper and the rest of the band met Hanson in early 1998 and the two shared a stage last August 11th, when Blues Traveler was joined by the brothers for a jammed-out rendition of MMMBop.

*Here's the latest news about Hanson's upcoming album according to Billboard. None of this have been confirmed by Hansonline, but this article at least gives us an idea about Hanson's involvement with the album and what some of the (song) tracks are. :) NEW YORK (Billboard) - By the time Hanson's new studio album comes out on April 25, it will have been three years since the brotherly trio set legions of prepubescent girls screaming with its 1997 Mercury Records debut, "Middle of Nowhere," which has sold more than 4 million units in the U.S., according to SoundScan. Now, with many of the act's fans having undoubtedly switched allegiances to groups like Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, Hanson will attempt to do what few teen acts have been able to do: make the transition from teen idols to a pop group that appeals to fans of all ages. A sneak peak at Hanson's new album proves it may have the goods to do it.
The boys opted to take the reins themselves this time out. They wrote all songs by themselves and are co-producing the album with Stephen Lironi, who produced the last album. While some of the songs have a psychedelic bent and show Isaac, Taylor and Zachary Hanson clearly rocking out, the more defined tracks blend their strong pop sensibilities with a move toward a harder, more sophisticated sound. Midtempo rocker "This Time Around" features Taylor and Isaac trading lead vocals wrapped around a funky pop melody, with guitar licks courtesy of Jonny Lang (who plays on two other tracks). Also immediately radio-worthy are "Runaway Run," which sounds like Phil Spector crossed with the Go-Gos and features great harmonies and joyous pop toe-tapper "If Only."

*On Hanson.net, there have been similar usernames like what Hanson has. So becareful that you don't fall for the fake ones by the *Posers* who want attention. The only way to know if it is THE real Hanson bro. posting is if it says "Administrator" below their username. Also, here's the link again from Ashley's post about the Reserved names for HANSON. So becareful okay. :) IMO so far Hanson.net has sort of been out-of-hand. People need to get their heads straightened before they start posting such immature/sick-minded topics. However, a lot of the unnecessary posts I believe have been deleted, but the MB still has a long way to go for improvement.

*To check out lightened version pix of Tay and Ike's stylin' hair-dos go to Hanson Haircuts!!!!

*Read this "Behind the Scenes" Gossip by Terry Ann Diochok, Producer of YTV's Hitlist (Canadian Channel).

*Worlds.com announced its installation results from its Internet-enhanced Hanson Cd in a press release on Sept. 9, '99. A portion of the article prints, ... The HansonWorld CD has been sent to approximately 30,000 members of the Hanson Fan Club "MOE" with more expected to be sent out over the coming months. To date, nearly 9,000 new e-mail registrations have been received by Worlds.com from Hanson fan club members. In total, this initiative has resulted in more than 10,000 new unique users who have become registered Worlds.com community members... Courtesy: HansonHotel. This proves that Hanson fans are still out there. This also shows our support for Hanson. Yeah! We're cool like that, aren't we. :)

*Some clips of HANSON recording were shown at the Tulsa Overground Film Festival '99 on Saturday, August 7, according to Tulsa World. Specifically it was "A film about Hanson, with rare, in-the-studio footage of the band recording its new album." Courtesy: HansonHotel

*MTV News had already mentioned about Hanson being in the studio recording and finishing 5 tracks so far. In addition, read a little more about what Hanson reported to MTV News about their new CD, "Hanson Hits Studio For Sophomore Effort."

*Last week, Rolling Stone Online had posted an article review of the Star Wars Private Screening over at the Skywalker Ranch. Of course, they had to mention Hanson, right, well here's how the article concluded: "According to onlookers Zach Hanson was especially spirited and had to be warned a few times during the screening to "keep it down." What's wrong with kids today, blabbering through a Star Wars flick? . . . Well that's zany Zac...what else were those people expecting from him. Isn't it great how he expresses his feelings *LoL*.

*According to CDnow's daily news, an article can be found which gives us information about Hanson's upcoming album. Click here to read.

*"eCommercial.com Signs Internet Marketing Agreement with Recording Group Hanson." Read the whole article here.

*As mentioned by Ashley G.'s post at the AFH NG, he said that according to Hot100.com, "Hansonline is STILL in the top 10 and is the ONLY fan site in the top 20. The rest are corporate/internet related services/sites. There are 2 Hanson related sites in the top 50 and note the complete absence of "boy bands" I believe this speaks volumes of who the REAL Hanson fans are, fans of all ages that are on the cutting edge of technology and REAL music. When the new CD hits, it is all over....

*Hanson's February Yahoo! Chat is the third largest chat in Yahoo history. They also hold the #1 chat. Yeah!

*Hanson was recently interviewed by Ugly Phil over the phone. Ike and Zac spoke for a very quick time. Zac and Phil proceeded with their talk about their rap band. Taylor was asked about his earring, and he stated that he had always wanted one for a long time, therefore, he finally got his ear cartilage pierced at Woodstock in New York. He said it didn't hurt at first, but then it did later on. Another subject they discussed about was the new album. So far they have 25 songs written to choose from for their third studio album release. Also, they were hoping to have a new single out by this Fall. After the release of their new album, they plan to head down to Australia as one of their first stops on their tour. Finally, Ugly Phil's sidekick, Jacki, told everyone about what Hanson said to their fans which was, to just donate money to "Tulsa's Community Food Bank" instead of giving presents to Hanson.
