Hey!!!
I had the best time of my life!!
Ok, I'll just start from the beginning.
Sunday night Travis (my Bro) & I went home with Shannon (my sis)
That night we went to the movies & saw Armageddon
(Very much an action movie, But I cried)
While we were waiting for the movie to start we walked around
in the Virgin Records store.
They didn't have much Hanson stuff at all.
Then we went home & went to bed, I didn't sleep hardly at all,
I was sooo excited.
The next morning we weren't sure what to do, Shan had a friend who
worked at Planet Hollywood & he was gonna try to get us in for the
press conference.
Well he called & said that the manager of PH was told that if he let
one girl near Hanson he was gonna lose his job, so he reserved the
WHOLE top floor for the conference & no one could go up there.
Needless to say I was kinda disappointed.
Shan had an audition so she went to that & when she got back she
decided that we were gonna go to PH anyway.
So we got ready & when we got there, there was already at least 150
girls outside, the guards had them behind barrackades.
Well I got behind the one right by the road so I could see them get out
of the car.
We waited for like an hour, every litle while u would hear a scream &
everyone would look at the road & there was nothing there.
I was standing next to this lady who had family in (I think she said)
Australia, & they had asked her to go there & get autographs, she was
really nice.
Finally a white van pulled up. didn't believe it was them 'cause cars
had been pulling up all day, but then I saw movement in the back & I saw
Zac sitting there, so I took a pic of him (I hope it comes out 'cause
the van was dark inside)
Then they started getting out, I didn't even have time to watch them I
was to busy taking pictures.
After they started to make their way through the crowd, I was trying to
get up by the doors so I could get more pic's, I think I only got like 2
more.
After that we went to lunch, then 'cause Shan was feeling good we went
home for awhile.
we just hung out there till 6:30, then we left for the concert, of
course with my luck there was alot of traffic, but we made it
(Thank God)
We parked & started walking inside, we had to stop at the ticket
counter & pick up our tickets.
Section 101, Row E, Seats 11-13.
By the time we got inside I could hear Admiral Twin playing, but I
wanted to buy some stuff before it sold out & I thought I would rather
miss them than Hanson.
So we got in line, I got the tour shirt & a key chain, Travis got one of
those BSP things for me (he's so sweet sometimes)
Then we started walking into the arena.
There were SOOO many people, and I had never seen so many with Hanson
shirts on, it was really cool.
So we finally found our seats, and the roadies started chaging for
Hanson's set.
We had just sat down & I started looking around, I look to my right & I
see this girl staring at me, I thought, hmm weird.
I looked again, & thought wow that girl looks like Sara (My Friend), then she
yelled Nikki!
So she came around to my side & i got to meet her and her friend Lizze
(who I have been talking to for awhile now)
(Hi Guys!!)
It was really cool meeting them.
Then we went back to our seats & everyone started yelling for Hanson &
doing the wave, That was cool.
We had awesome seats, we were like just above Isaac's head.
They were perfect!!!
Then Hanson came out, I have never heard so much screaming in my life!!
hehe, I didn't think I would but I was screaming too.
They started off with "So Glad Ya made It" then "Thinking Of You"
after that I have no idea the order.
They sang a song from the new live album, but I couldn't hear the name,
or the words.
They sang some oldies like, Summertime Blues, Mo' Money & Magic Carpet
ride.
It was a great concert, & I have ached so badly in the last 2 days,
it's not even funny!!
After it was over, We waited until alot of ppl had left 'cause I wanted
to find out about the MOE BSP's ('cause Hanson had talked about them
during the show, but hadn't said how to get them.)
So I went up to a security guard, and some other girls behind me wanted
to know the same thing.
He said that Hanson was out of the building & already on I-4, which had
to be a lie 'cause what about the bsp ppl?
Then what he said about the MOE stuff made no sense.
He said that they randomly chose 10 girls, but then he said that if we
would have won, someone would have came up to us & put a sticker on the
back of our card.
Now what made no sense was, how in the world did they know what those
girls they picked at random looked like so they coould slap a sticker
on their card?
See? Made no sense!!!
On our way out there was a guy selling the HUGE Hanson posters for $5,
so I got one.
Then on the way home Shannon made me teach her MmmBop, it was really
cool, she said she really enjoyed it & would be happy to go again next
time :-)
That was a really great day, and to whoever is going to any of the
other concerts, I hope you have as much fun as I did.
Nikki
