Hootang On Stage!!!

One day my master groomed me up and called me to go out with her. At first, I thought she might bring me to her office as usual but she didn't. She brought me to the dog show without asking for my opinion!(How could she?!) I met a lot of dogs there...big or small they all looked so alert. I was so scared, anyhow I felt safe if my master was with me.

Hootang: I'm so shy,master.

My master: Don't panic, Hootang. Straight up your ears! You look terrible.

I really am!

First when we entered the ring.We had to stand really still,straight and face up with the mouth closed!(That was tough because I was such a happy dog who loved smiling,whenever I saw any camera shooting at me!). Then we had to stand still and let a dog-doctor(a veterinarian) check ourselves(for physical health). After that we had to run into the triangle shape let the judge see us from the front and side views. Then the judge usually threw some thing nearby to check our temper....then they let us stand in the straight line and finally they called the winner out. I made a lot of friends there.

One of my trophy from 1996 Puppy of the Year Contest the judge had a difficult time getting up after presenting me the award.He said he didn't really want to present the award to a small dog.

After the show,I was so tired that I went to my mat rather early. My master made this mat for me, hoping that it would keep me away from her bed. ...Doesn't really work, though.

I'm so tired, master. Please don't bother me.
