1. Upcoming & Recent Events:
APRIL FOOL'S ANNIVERSARY!
Hercules and Xena recently celebrated its second anniversary with several
strange occurrences that marked April Fool's Day as truly extraordinary.
What started out normally with the animals of the wilds trying to enter the
city soon spiraled into pie fights, bouts of bad songs sung by even worse
voices, and back-talking traps!
Thank you all for making our first two years good ones, and we hope you'll stick with us for many more to come as we plan to keep exciting and amazing you!
MENTOR FISHING TOURNEY
The Mentors' recent Fishing contest was a tremendous success, unless you
were a fish! The winners in the various categories were:
Best Fish Tale: Dordie
Amateur Anglers
1st Place & Biggest Fish: Rosemarrie
Anglers
1st Place: Reethyn, 2nd Place: Eldorian, 3rd Place: Leanna, Biggest Fish:
Eldorian
Master Anglers
1st Place: Gabit, 2nd Place: Llorien, 3rd Place: Dordie, Biggest Fish: Gabit
And while we're on the topic of contests, congratulations to Llorien, the winner of the dress AGM Surreal Contest!
LOST TEMPLES EXCAVATED IN MIDGARD!
Followers of the Norse Pantheon rejoice! On a recent trailblazing journey
in the Nordmarka Forest, a group of people discovered the ruins of a lost
city. Almost everything was left in ruins, except for several temples to
the various Norse deities. As soon as we're sure that the roof won't cave
in on anyone, we'll be sure to open it up to the public!
ROLEPLAYING CLASSES
Come join the fun on April 5th, with Mentor Tkeeri, as she begins a series
of Seminars on Role-Playing in Athens. The first, Introduction to Role- Playing
in Athens, will be open to all citizens that have a desire to gain new insight
into the various aspects of role-playing.
This seminar will give citizens of ALL statures, the tools and confidence to have fun with life in Athens. We would love to hear from everyone, so bring your questions, ideas, and comments. It will be held twice, once at 4pm EST and again at 10pm EST, both in the Sweet Oblivi Inn Sitting Room. We look forward to seeing you there.

2. General News:
TYCHE TAKES INVENTORY
Tired of visiting Tyche and having to dig through hundreds upon hundreds
of pieces of junk to reach the good stuff at the bottom? Fret no more! The
priestess has recently taken an economics class and been given a proper abacus
with which to keep count of her inventory so that you shouldn't ever run
into those problems again.
NEW SKILLS
Several new skills and toys were given out to the various professions this
month. First up were the priest spells which finally reached up to 20 in
each realm of magic! Rogues got new traps to burn and impale, which in turn
should cut back on amateurs. Alchemists no longer lose out when mixtures
prove to be explosive, and storytellers gained the ability to charm animals.
And last but not least, the warriors of Athens received a nice non-combat
skill with which they can balance weapons!
