1. Upcoming Events:
WINTER MENTOR TALENT SHOWCASE
Show off your talent at the kick-off to the Winter Mentor Fair in a Talent
Showcase! Auditions will be held in The Four Winds Storyteller's Hall on
Thursday, January 4th at 9 PM ET and on Saturday, January 6th, at 4 PM ET
(in Athens SOUTHEAST, get DIRections to the INN, GO through the DOORS, then
go west and north). Prepare to tell your best story, to sing your best song,
and to see your name up in torches where it belongs!

The holidays are coming but there's been no sign of Senticles anywhere!
Surely the season to be merry can't roll on by without something stupendous
surfacing for everyone to enjoy...

2. Athenian News:
EXPERIENCE BOOST
For those that haven't heard, Ares has made it a bit easier on sissy mortals
by allowing them to learn more easily from lesser creatures. You will
now receive full experience even if you are up to 5 levels above the creature
you are fighting, but experience will drop off rapidly at 6 levels.
NEW NAUTICAL TRANSPORT!
Overwhelming demand by our good captains and other assorted seamen has caused
Piraeus and her travel destinations to band together to form one united front.
Tickets from booths on the docks are now required for boarding. The promise
of payment drew in a few other boats to help tow the line so there are now
two on each trip. This means less waiting time at the docks... and more money
in the pockets of the ship-owners.

HOME EXTERMINATORS
After hearing about our plight, a world-renowned house gremlin exterminator
has stepped forward to relieve the world of these pests. If you've
been lucky enough not to encounter one yet, here's what you've been missing:
little gremlins sneaking into your house after you go to sleep... picking
you up and standing you up outside! Upon awakening, you fall flat on your
face and they all have a little chuckle. With the help of the exterminator,
these chuckles will cease.
Also, just visiting the lands will now mark your home as visited, so you don't have to worry about losing your house if you want to study abroad for a while.
