1. Upcoming & Recent Events:
"STORIES ABOUT AUTOLYCUS" CONTEST!
Storytellers all over Greece have often told tales about the exploits of
that King of Thieves, the one and only, Autolycus. Now these lore- spinners
will have a chance to display their talents with Autolycus himself and a
special guest as the judges of the First Annual "Stories About Autolycus"
Contest!
While the location, time and exact date are still being determined, you can start preparing now by sharpening your quills and mix up enough ink! Scheduled for sometime in October, this event guarantees to bewitch you with the spellbinding sagas about Autolycus and his adventures!
Stay tuned to the in-game NEWS for details about this great storytelling event!
WHOPPING BIG FISH TALES
The Mentors' recent Fishing contest was a tremendous success, unless you
were a fish! The winners in the various categories were:
Best Fish Tale: Tusk
Biggest Fish: Llorien
Amateur Anglers, 1st Place: Pamico, 2nd Place: Silven, 3rd Place:
Rosemarrie
Anglers, 1st Place: Dordie, 2nd Place: Gabit, 3rd Place: Attucus

2. General News:
WARNING COMBAT BUG FIX!
While working on alchemy, Wanderstar and Mathuna found a bug in how combat
deals with the damage enhancing draughts. In short, they were reducing damage
done to the user due to a typo in the combat system itself. The bug fix went
in on Monday, August 23rd after testing and time to allow all that have benefited
from it a head's up. No one is considered to have cheated, as it was a very
subtle bug.
STRENGTH & SKIN ENHANCING MODIFICATIONS
Strength enhancers will now reduce combat roundtimes. They have always enhanced
damage but until today have done nothing to improve their user's combat
roundtimes.
Additionally, a small improvement has been made to skin enhancing formulas, making them more beneficial than ever before. Watch the in-game NEWS for more game fixes and additions!

3. Premium News:
UPCOMING ESTATE SUCCESSOR EVENTS!
The September Estate Successors' meeting will be on Sunday, September 12th
at the Diamond Estate in Athens. Could there be a discussion of the potentially
bank-account draining auction?
The recent fashion model search by the fabulous Widow Twanky was a rousing success! Dozens of talented Athenians showed up to gain spots in the Widow's troupe, but only a few made the cut. The chosen models are: Anika, Alydyana, Gabit, Elyna, Hench, Pickoer and Garrock. Congratulations!
The GodsWear Fashion Extravaganza itself is scheduled for October 3rd at 7PM EST. The Widow is still looking for local talent, so she might still tap you on your sartorial shoulders as you go about your business! Be on the look out for her!

MODUS OPERANDI OPEN HOUSE!
Join the Morada Island Guides and fellow players for a special Modus Operandi
New Player Night and Open House on Sunday, September 19th. Meet at the Tourist
Information Center for guided tours of the island and special Mentor events,
beginning at 7 PM EST.
To participate, go to our web site http://www.modusoperandi.net and log into play. Once in the game, just type DIR JOHNSTON TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER to find your way there. Island Guides will be on hand to answer the questions of newcomers and veterans alike. We look forward to seeing you there!
