Chapter Three: Here We Go.
Jennifer waited 10 to 15 minutes, after her dad and Terri left for work, to call a cab. She had all of her belongings packed in to two suitcases. She didn't bring all of her stuff back to Chicago with her 'cause she was determined to go back to her grandma's house in Tulsa when she was told she had to go to Chicago.
"Grandma, Sami I'm coming home where I belong," whispered Jennifer clutching the airline tickets, her grandmother sent her, to her chest. She was so happy to go see her friends back in Tulsa, but she wasn't quite ready to see Taylor yet. She had plenty of time, though. She heard on MTV, the day before yesterday, that they had just started another tour. So that gave her around 2 to 3 months to gather the courage of facing Taylor again.
She left a note on the table for her dad and Terri. She knew they had no idea where her grandmother lived so it wasn't gonna hurt her to leave a note:
Dear Daddy and Terri,
I'm going back to Tulsa where I belong. I practically have a life there. I don't like it here. Either Daddy or Jason is beathing the crap out of me or no ones home to talk to. I got so many friends at Tulsa, I won't be lonely anymore. So this is good-bye.
Jennifer
When she put down the pen she heard the honks of the cab outside. She jumped up, grabbed her bags, and ran outside to the cab without looking back.
"Hobby Airport," said Jennifer.
Jennifer sat there and thought if things changed back in Tulsa. She couldn't believe that it was only two months ago she moved, it seemed an eternity to her.
"I don't care what you say, Jennifer, I'm gonna love you for the rest of my life. Together or not, near or far, I'm gonna love you no matter
what," floated through Jennifer's mind all during the cab ride to the airport.
"Please God give me the strength to face Taylor again. He had hurt me so much, I know he didn't mean to, but what he did hurt so much give me the courage to forgive him. Please,"
"15$," Jennifer gave him the requested money and had her luggage checked in.
"Flight 370 to Tulsa, Oklahoma is now boarding, Flight 370 to Tulsa, Oklahoma is now boarding," This was it she was gonna face her past once more and not to mention her present and future. She picked up her carry on bag and walked to the ramp.
"Here we go," whispered Jennifer.
