During World War I, some D.VII's were used by the Ottoman Turkish Air Force. These were mostly flown by German pilots.

After the war, the Turkish Air Force used 7 D.VII's, probably taken over from retreating Germans. They were registered 'FD 9' to 'FD 15'. Of their further use, nothing is known.
