Interpretation of the Tradition within the realm of Yahoo A+E
Prince Yriel has declared that the Primogens have the right to build thier clans any way they desire, and as such have the right to give leave to members of their clans to embrace.
As of Wednedsday January 15 1998, a total ban of embracement was issued by Prince Yriel and Primogen Council untill such time as a census of the number of Kindred who inhabit the realm can be taken.
Furthermore, Kindred of higher generation than the 11th have been permanantly forbidden to embrace.
As of January 29 1998 the total ban was lifted by order of Hel__Razor, who has been observing the number of Kindred in the open taverns, and has concluded that an overpopulation problem is not in effect.
History and Purpose of the Tradition
This tradition was yet another law set down by Caine to his first brood, in order to control the number of Kindred in the world. Today it is even more important to do so as a high number of Kindred may become a threat to the Masquerade.
