The Sixth Tradition: Destruction

Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind. The right of destruction belongeth to thine Elder. Only the Eldest among thee shall call the Blood Hunt.

While Prince Yriel and the Council of Primogens have yet to release an official interpretation, modern custom dictates that only the Prince of a realm may call for the destruction of a Kindred. As of Janurary 1 1998, a unilateral Blood Hunt has been declared on any and all members of the Sabbat. The following is a list of known Sabbat:

As of January 29, 1998, Hel__Razor has declared that the Vampire Coven, being a place of special Elysium, and designated as neutral terriotory for all, shall not be used as a place of Hunting. No Blood Hunts may occur there, and if the hunted go there, he will be afforded sanctuary untill he leaves.

History and Purpose of the Tradition

The tradition of Destruction was probably the highest of laws to Caine. It is meant to keep violence among the Kindred to a non-lethal level, to prevent acts of diablere by power-hungry Kindred, and to give the Eldest the final tool he needs to rule.
