Psychological impact:

Nikita:

Nikita's performance on this mission shows her growing ability to assess the situation and act on it appropriately.  However, as shown by her intervention when one of Chernov's "children" was being disciplined, her compassion is still intact.

Michael:

It is clear that Michael is still recovering from the loss of his son.  However, he seems to have at least pulled himself together during missions.

Michael and Nikita's Bond:

Michael's reaction after his teams rescue of Nikita was one of the more open that this observer has seen.  In the past, he has been secretively protective often hurting Nikita in the process.  However, since Nikita's discovery of and introduction into the Valcek mission, Michael has been more open in his concern for her.  Nikita appears to be giving Michael the time he needs to fully recover from the loss of his family.

Recommendations:

1.    Continued surveillance on Michael and Nikita.
