"The writings of Mrs. White point constantly to the Bible as the great source of all spiritual truth. They abound in Scriptural quotations, to which she gives no fanciful interpretation." Life and Teachings of Ellen G. White, p. 123
"God in His great mercy bore long with Lucifer. He was not immediately degraded from his exalted station when he first indulged the spirit of discontent, nor even when he began to present his false claims before the loyal angels. Long was he retained in heaven. Again and again he was offered pardon on condition of repentance and submission"
The Great Controversy, pp. 495-496
"Adam was crowned king in Eden"
Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, vol. 7a, p. 1082
"Eve wandered away from the side of her husband, and was gazing with mingled curiosity and admiration upon the fruit of the forbidden tree. Satan, in the form of a serpent, conversed with Eve....She ate and was delighted with the fruit. She took the fruit and found her husband.... Adam regretted that Eve had left his side, but now the deed was done" Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, pp. 39,40,42
"Adam censured Eve's folly in leaving his side, and being deceived by the serpent"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 44
"This serpent was a very beautiful creature with wings; and while flying through the air his appearance was very bright, resembling the color of burnished gold. He did not go upon the ground, but went from place to place through the air, and ate fruit like man"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, pp. 39-40
"The news of man's fall spread through Heaven -- every harp was hushed. The angels cast their crowns from their heads in sorrow....A council was held to decide what must be done with the guilty pair"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 44
An angel told Mrs. White that "Angels were so interested for man's salvation that there could be found among them those who would yield their glory and give their life for perishing man" Early Writings, p. 127
"A light flashes from heaven and consumes the offering of Abel. Cain sees no manifestation that his is accepted"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 48
"Angels held communication with Adam after his fall, and informed him of the plan of salvation, and that the human race was not beyond redemption"

"The Sabbath was observed before the fall. Because Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command, and ate of the forbidden fruit, they were expelled from Eden; but they observed the Sabbath after their fall"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 52
"The pure and lovely garden of Eden, from which our first parents were driven, remained until God purposed to destroy the earth by a flood. God had planted that garden, and especially blessed it, and in his wonderful providence withdrew it from the earth, and will return it to the earth again, more gloriously adorned than before it was removed from the earth"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 55
"Enoch was troubled in regard to the dead. It seemed to him that the righteous and the wicked would go to the dust together, and that would be their end"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 55
"Enoch continued to grow more heavenly while communing with God. His face was radiant with a holy light which would remain upon his countenance while instructing those who would hear his words of wisdom. His heavenly and dignified appearance struck the people with awe"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 57
"But if there was one sin above another which called for the destruction of the race by the flood, it was the base crime of amalgamation of man and beast which defaced the image of God, and caused confusion everywhere"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 64
"Every species of animal which God had created were preserved in the ark. The confused species which God did not create, which were the result of amalgamation, were destroyed by the flood. SINCE THE FLOOD THERE HAS BEEN AMALGAMATION OF MAN AND BEAST, as may be seen in the almost endless varieties of species of animals, and IN CERTAIN RACES OF MEN"
Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 75 (emphasis added)

"In 1868 Uriah Smith, editor of the Review and Herald at the time, wrote a defense of the visions of Ellen White. This was printed in booklet form that same year under the title "The Visions of Mrs. E.G. White. "It was very warmly praised by James White in the Review and Herald on August 25, 1868, and he and Ellen took 2000 copies to campmeetings that year. Smith took the position on these amalgamation statements as referring to sexual relations between men and animals that produced different races of man. That was his defense of Mrs. White on the point. Smith says, after quoting what we noted in the reference above:
"But does any one deny the general statement contained in the extract given above? They do not. If they did, they could easily be silenced by a reference to such cases as the wild Bushmen of Africa, some tribes of the Hottentots, and perhaps the Digger Indians of our own country, atc. Moreover, naturalists affirm that the line of demarkation between the human and animal races is lost in confusion. It is impossible, as they affirm, to tell just where the human ends and the animal begins. Can we suppose that this was so ordained of God in the beginning? Rather has not sin marred the boundaries of these two kingdoms?"
The Visions of Mrs. E.G. White, p. 103.
"Obviously Smith, and most Adventists for many years, believed just what Ellen White plainly said. And with the endorsement of James White it is evident that she did say it."
"Ellen G. White & Inspiration", Maurice Barnett, pp.34-35
"TO THE ANGELS AND THE UNFALLEN WORLDS the cry, "It is finished," had a deep significance. IT WAS FOR THEM as well as for us THAT THE GREAT WORK OF REDEMPTION HAD BEEN ACCOMPLISHED. They with us share the fruits of Christ's victory"
The Desire of Ages, p. 758 (emphasis added)
Commenting on the account of the healing of the demoniacs at Gadara, and the demon possessed herd of swine which was swept into the sea, Mrs. White states: "Had not Christ restrained the demons, they would have plunged into the sea, not only the swine, but also their keepers and owners" The Great Controversy, p. 515
"We all entered the cloud together, and were seven days ascending to the sea of glass, when Jesus brought the crowns, and with His own right hand placed them on our heads"
Early Writings, p. 16
"There I saw most glorious houses, that had the appearance of silver, supported by four pillars set with pearls most glorious to behold.... In each was a golden shelf. I saw many of the saints go into the houses, take off their glittering crowns and lay them on the shelf..."
Early Writings, p. 18
"There is perfect order and harmony in the Holy City. All the angels that are commissioned to visit the earth hold a golden card, which they present to the angels at the gates of the city as they pass in and out"
Early Writings, p. 39
"I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: IF ANYONE ADDS TO THEM, GOD SHALL ADD TO HIM THE PLAGUES which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book"
