Cardigan is located in Kings County in the eastern portion of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Its precise location is 46:14 N, 62:37 W. Below Cardigan is shown on a map of P.E.I.
The Cardigan Highlanders Rugby Football Club plays in the Prince Edward Island Summer Rugby League. Cardigan makes up one of the five teams in the league. In the 1997 season Cardigan finished 3rd in the league and won the consolation final. See our season results
The Highlanders are presently planning a tour of the Ottawa region for early summer of 1998 if there are any teams that would like to be a stop in that tour please contact us at Highlanders. Also if there are any teams that would like to tour our region please feel free to contact us. The Highlanders will also be sending a team to the Truro Sevens tournament in the spring.
