You are looking at a 1930 Ford 2 door sedan. My next door neighbor & I built this car from the frame up! I will try to describe it to the best of my ability. This car is in very good condition & can be driven anywhere! The small block chevy engine & trans are in good condition. The engine has a 4 barrel Quadrajet carb & runs great, starts easily, idles smooth & does not Smoke. The mileage listed above is the miles that we put on since the build. I have no way of knowing the actual mileage of the car? The mufflers are a little loud & give it a really nice, deep throaty sound! The interior is really just the basics! Two bucket seats, a handfull of guages & some carpet on the floor. It has a Clear Texas title ready to be transfered! It is currently registerd & insured & legal to drive in the state of Texas! The exterior is really pretty straight with no major dents at all. This car looks, runs & drives GREAT!
This is not a Show Car or even a fancy Streetrod, however it very well could be a street rod or show car if you want to spend the bucks & the time! Even with it's gray primer paint job, you can see for yourself that the body is really nice! This car can be driven exactly the way it is and you would be PROUD to be seen in it anywhere! And an Excellent driver! This car has been at many of our local cruise ins & made several Sunday morning trips to the Busy Bee Bakery to meet with the other local hot rodders. It was also driven up to Vernon Texas last year for the Summer's Last Blast Cruise! That was about 500 miles in itself! The car drives & handles great at any speed! No front end problems of any kind!
Everything on the car is either new, rebuilt or checked over thoroughly to be sure it was in good condition!
The car was finished to the point you see it in now one year ago. We have been driving it since then.
If you are looking for a super cool car to drive while you add your own finishing touches then this is it! To us it is finished & just the way we like it!
There are a few things you may want to do
1) There is no flat glass in the car other than the front windshield.
2) There is no interior other than the bucket seats & some carpet.
3) Chop the top 4". We were going to do this but we are both pretty large men & it is very comfortable the way it is. Also we had so much fun after starting to drive it that we didn't want to work on it!
4) This car could be block sanded & painted & be really nice!
5) Actually it is a great driver as is & you could let your imagination run wild with things you personally would want to do & still have a cool ride this Spring!.
This is not a Perfect car, but All in all, I believe this is one of the best ratrods you can find for the money! The only reason it is for sale is I have another Model A sedan That I want to build & I have a Hemi I want to put in it. Basically it will be the same as this one but I will chop the top & put the Hemi in it!
NOTE:Please look very carefully at the other pictures I have posted on another site! I will answer all question to the best of my knowledge. You are welcome & encouraged to inspect this car prior to bidding if you wish. This is a very dependable drive anywhere car, it is in the Rat rod category but not the junkyard category.
