Jack, a sensitive ,young, intelligent and quickwitted Third Class passenger, and inspiring artist, won his ticket aboard Titanic at a "lucky hand" of poker.

At the age of fifteen his parents died. He then used his artistic talent as a means of self survival, traveling the world and enjoying the simplicities of life.

"Well, right now my address is the RMS Titanic. After that, I'm on God's good humour."
