A long, long, long time ago, in a world far, far away, okay, in the basement
but it's far below, a young man had a dream. That dream would wind up being
Rebel Phoenix. The young man in question is my cousin John Redekop and it's
not that I want to age him but he does like to brag about changing my diapers!
Besides, as the song says "all my heroes have grown old". *wink* I remember
the noise, oops, I mean music from those early days very well, I also remember
that was the first time I ever played on a drumset, come to think of it, no wonder
I've always been in the music business! Ahhh, memories.

But I digress, what I really want to talk about is this wonderful band Rebel Phoenix.
Their last release Heroes came out in 1996 and are presently working on a new cd
of which you'll hear about here first. Here are some samples:
