The story of Magic Knight Rayearth was created by CLAMP. The story is about 3 Japanese schoolgirls summoned into a fantasyland called Cefiro. They were summoned by the princess to save Cefiro. First appeared in Kodansha's Nakayoshi girl magazine. If you haven't see the anime, try for the manga (comic). Now I'll talk about Clamp. Clamp is also the creator of Tokyo Babylon, RG Veda and CLAMP high school.The Clamp members are Nanase Ohkawa, Satsuki Igarashi, Mokona "PU!" Apapa, Mick Nekoi. In the manga, they are represented by animal pictures, sometime the characters can talk with them. There's also Rayearth RPG games. They were published by SEGA, for Saturn and Game Gear. As usual, anime business means big money, the toymakers sell many Rayearth merchandise,like dolls,LDs,CDs,bags,stationery, wall paper, etc.
