
Most of the time when we see a Nascar race, the only flags we see is the Green, White, & Checkered. So what do'es all the rest of them flags mean, well you come to the right place, let's take a minute and learn all about them.
The GREEN Flag
The green flag means of course to start the race. It is also used to restart the race after there has been a dangerous situation on the track.
The YELLOW and RED stripe Flag
The track surface is hazardous
due to oil or water on the track.
The BLUE and Yellow Stripe Flag
The Blue & Yellow stripe flag tell a competitor that he is about to be laped, move out of the way for faster traffic.
The RED Flag
The red flag means all racing must stop immediately, all competitors must stop where there at.
The BLACK Flag
The black flag means you have done something wrong on the track, or there is something wrong with your car, the driver must pit.
The YELLOW Flag
The yellow flag means danger on the track, all drivers proceed to the finish line.
The WHITE Flag
The white flag means one lap to go, put the pedal to the metal, if you ain't winning you should be
