Robbie steped into the Crew Chief row for Jeff Gordon in the 2000 season. Robbie left Richard Petty, as Crew Chief for John Andretti when the oppportunity came to work with Gordon and Hendricks Motorsports. Loomis began his Crew Chief career with Richard Petty in 1991. He also was Crew Chief for Bobby Hamilton as well as Andretti and had a total of three victorys since 1996. ( now you know why he came to Hendricks. Know what I mean ) Robbie is 35 year old.
