5/23/99 :WWF Over the Edge :Owen Hart died at the age of 34 .This is a memorial for him .tonight on Raw (USA) there will be a special show for him .....Owen is gone and it is a great tragedy....but we must move on....we can only hope Owen went to Professional Wrestling Heaven....

It was a tragic death .Owen was going to easily come down from the rafters as the Blue Blazer and he would be lowered into the ring .Unfortunately something went wrong...Now several things may have hapened .He may not have had it on , it could've snapped .Either way Owen fell 50 feet to his death .We didn't just lose a professional wrtestler , we lost a father , a brother ,and a friend .Owen/Blue Blazer's finisher was the Sharpshooter , his retired brother Bret "The Hitman" Hart also used this move in his career .This Monday , in memorial of him "Double J" Jeff Jarrett , his tag partner used the Sharpshooter instead of the Figure 4 .Owen grew up the youngest of 12 children .His father Stu Hart taught him and Bret how to wrestle .Owen was one of the most loved in wrestling ....and now he's not here....
