12\24 Cujo was back in net after being benched for 2 games and he shutout the Blue Jackets 1-0. 
Scoring was Draper late in the third. Next up: Columbus at the Joe on Thursday.

12\22 The Rangers were stale and the Wings exploited them 3-2. Scoring were Larionov, Lidstrom, 
and Shanahan. Next up: a home and home with the Blue Jackets starting Monday in Columbus.

12\20 Every time the Wings and Stars get together there is a great game and nothing gets settled.
After the previous two meetings ended in 3-3 ties, this one ends 1-1. Scoring was Shanahan. Next 
up: The Rangers at the Joe on Saturday.

12\18 Chris Osgood put up quite a fight as the Wings tie their old mate 2-2 in Long Island. 
Scoring were Larionov and Robitaille. Next up: Dallas at the Joe on Thursday.

12\15 The Wings were poor defensively but mighty at the other end and rack up a 6-4 win over the 
Blue Jackets. Scoring were Fedorov(2), Holmstrom, Maltby, McCarty, and Shanahan. Next up: at Long 
Island on Tuesday.

12\12 The Wings suffered from bad bounces and bad luck in a 3-2 loss to Minnesota. Scoring were 
Devereaux(1st of year) and Shanahan. Next up: at Columbus on Saturday.
   Mathieu Dandenault suffered a broken eye socket when he was hit in the face by a Brendan 
Shanahan shot. He will be out 2-3 weeks. Kirk Maltby signed a 4 year contract extension.

12\11 Scotty Bowman was offered the coaching job in Calgary but quickly turned it down.... There 
are 12 or so guys who are suffering from food poisoning but are getting better.... Manny Legace 
will be out at least another week with a knee injury.... The new Cheli's Chili Bar will open soon 
at the corner of Michigan and Oakwood in Dearborn.

12\9 It was a rough one, but the Wings prevail over the Blues in overtime 4-3. Scoring were 
Chelios, Hull, Williams, and Zetterberg with the game winner. Next up: a few days off, then
Northwest division leading Minnesota at the Joe on Thursday.

12\7 In the most entertaining and possibly meaningful game of the season so far, the Wings tie 
the West leading Stars 3-3. Scoring were Fedorov, Hull, and Maltby. Next up: St. Louis at the Joe 
on Sunday.

12\6 The dogs were no match for the Wings who won 5-3. Scoring were Holmstrom, Lidstrom, Maltby, 
McCarty, and Shanahan. Next up: a dandy at Dallas tonight.

12\4 The Wings were patient and skated away with a 2-1 win over Anaheim. Scoring were Avery and 
Hull. Next up: at Phoenix on Thursday.

12\2 Although outplayed for much of the game, the Wings manage a 4-2 win over Calgary. Scoring 
were Shanahan, Zetterberg, Avery, and Fedorov. Next up: Anaheim at the Joe on Tuesday.
  Chris Chelios and Pavel Datsyuk sat out with injuries.
