What sort of gals do you go for?

She's got to have charisma and she should have plenty of confidence. I like girls who like to have a laugh and have a big sense of humour. I also like girls who will pop in and say, "Here I am!" It doesn't matter what she looks like though honestly! 

Have you ever had your heart broken?

Oh yes! When I broke up with my last girlfriend I felt horrible. We had been going out for more than 3 years and I was madly in love with her. We broke up in August last year and I was down for weeks......nobody could even talk to me. 

Can you imagine dating a fan?

Yes of course - I have done that already! Sometimes I even call fans at home to ask how they are. When I do, they always go crazy and can't believe that I'm calling. I love the way our fans react, they're really sweet and it feels great. It's amazing that no one new asked me out last year!

No question, Cindy Crawford - I think she's very sexy. But I couldn't imagine her as my girlfriend. I like more natural looking girls. I'm into girls I can talk to for hours without getting bored. My dream girl has to have a great sense of humour. Girls who don't talk at all aren't very attractive, but she shouldn't be Miss Chatterbox either! 

What makes a girl attractive?

It's great if a girl is confident and accepts herself. Girls who tell you how fat they are and how awful their hair is are a nightmare! She's got to be intelligent and shouldn't be afraid to speak straight from her heart - confidence is very important. I've to be able to trust my girlfriend and be able to talk to her. 

Are you romantic?

Hey, I'm Mr Romantic! I have Spanish relatives so romance is in my blood! I like to surprise a girl, like take her out for a weekend!

Describe your ideal girl.......

I don't really have one, I love girls who dress up sexy! That doesn't mean short skirts or something like that though. When I'm going out with a girl, I like to be with her all the time, and it's important we talk about everything. 

Are looks at all important to you?

Not really. The most important thing is we can talk on the same level. She's got to be intelligent and confident about what she's saying. I don't like people who lie or break promises. Also, I think it's horrible when girls behave like they're boys. 

Are you going out with anyone at the moment?

No. In fact, we're all single. I like to be straightforward with girls. Sometimes I think romance is a total waste of time. Of course, a candlelit dinner is nice, but that's got nothing to do with romance! Sometimes when I'm with a girl I can be really shy because I'm afraid I'll say something wrong.

She's definitely got to have long hair, but it doesn't matter what colour. The most important thing is her personality. She's got to know what she wants and how to get it. Unfortunately, I haven't found her yet! I've had girlfriends before, but not the right one for me. 

What do you think's the most important thing in a girl? 

Looks don't mean much to me. I like to see beautiful girls in the subway or whatever, but that's as far as it goes. In my experience most of the beautiful girls I've met have been totally arrogant - that's why her personality matters more to me. 

Would you ever consider dating a fan? 

Yes. When we're on tour we get to meet loads of girls, but I don't have time for a girlfriend. It's nice when I do get a chance to meet girls if we've been tour for awhile - it's great to talk to people other than the band!

What do you really go for in a girl? 

I like long hair, it doesn't matter what colour. More than anything, her personality counts. A girl who always agree to everything is not for me. I love a challenge, the risk that things could go wrong! 

Are you faithful when you're going out with a girl? 

Yeah, very! That's very important to me. I could never date a girl who was going out with another guy, and I could never see any other girls besides my girlfriend. I would feel as bad as hell, and I wouldn't be able to look her in the eye anymore. If I had a girlfriend, I'd never even look at other girls! 

Can you imagine dating a fan? 

Yes, why not? We like to have a very close relationship with our fans! I could really imagine dating a fan, but I don't think it could develop any further. We almost never get time to see our family - how would we have time to see girlfriends as well? It would be unfair on the girl too. 

Can you remember the first time you fell in love? 

To be honest, I haven't been in love yet, and I've never had those strange "butterflies in the stomach" feeling. There have been girls I've really like, but I've never fallen in love with them. But I'm still young and I think I've got enough time. If I did find the woman I would really spoil her.................
