On August 23, 1997,me and my three friends, Maddie, Lynne and Danielle went to see Hanson at Arthur Ashe Kid's Day. We made seven large, colorful Hanson signs for the show and had shirts made for us that said, "Hanson Rules!" When we got to the stadium, we were really hyper and crazy!!! This one worker saw our shirts and told us that Hanson was in a tennis court signing autographs. We immediately ran to the tennis court.(It was court 7) There were a couple of other fans in there and they were told that Hanson was in there too. They were not there. We all went to the top of the court and everyone could see us. We started screaming for Hanson and this camera guy came and taped us. We were there for about 45 minutes, but then we heard music. It was HANSON practicing Mmmbop before the show. We started screaming even more, but we got kicked out of Court 7 because we were being a little too crazy!!! We went to stand in line for the opening of the stadium. There were other girls standing there screaming "WE WANT HANSON! WE WANT HANSON!" Soon, the gates opened and we went running into the stadium. Our seats were in row W. The rows went from A-Z. (We were pretty high.) We all sat down, and Maddie went to get the video camera from her dad. He was not with us either. She ran all the way back down while Lynne, Danielle and I sat there doing nothing. We saw a bunch of fans at the top screaming and waving so we ran three rows up to see Hanson at the bottom waving up. We were sooooo happy. Unfortunately, by the time Maddie came back with the camera, Hanson was gone. =( The show started and we all started screaming. A family below us moved because of our screaming. When Hanson came on, they performed Mmmbop and then left. After the song was over, we went looking for them. We couldn't find them and didn't feel like going all the way back up to the top of the stadium, so we snuck into another area. They performed "Where's the Love" and left. We got even closer to the stage they were performing on. Finally we were next to a security gaurd and we asked her if we could give Hanson all of this candy and stuff we bought for them. She said yes, but we never got to. =( The good thing was that Maddie went pushing people out of the way so that she could see Hanson closer and she did. They performed "Madeline", "Man From Milwaukee", and even "Mmmbop" again before they left. Maddie's camera was dying, but right before it died, Tay waved into the camera. It is soooo cool!!!After the show, we snuck on stage to find a foot print on the platform where Zac's drums were and three waterbottles!!! We all looked at the waterbottles. One was by the where Zac played his drums, one was by where Isaac was and one was by where Tay was. I got Zac's, it was a little crushed, but that's okay. Maddie got Tay's and Lynne got Ike's. WOW!!! It was soooo cool!!! That was the best day of my life!!!
