History of X

Here is a short history of X and X-Japan...

X members are:
Toshi (real name: Deyama Toshimitsu)
Taiji (real name: Sawada Taiji)
Pata (real name: Iizuka Tomoaki)
Hide (real name: Matsumoto Hideto)
Yoshiki (real name: hayashi Yoshiki)

In 1992 Taiji left the band and Heath joined in August 1992 so
X became X-Japan.
X-Japan's members are:
Toshi (real name: Deyama Toshimitsu)
Heath (real name: Morie Hiroshi)
Pata (real name: Iizuka Tomoaki)
Hide (real name: Matsumoto Hideto)
Yoshiki (real name: Hayashi Yoshiki)

X was formed in 1982 already with Yoshiki and Toshi as the core of
the band. Till 1987 members changed rapidly and X was moving from one
bar to the next in Tokyo.
In 1987 Pata and Hide chan joined the band and they gave themselves
one last chance to make it... as we all know they did.
As far as I know one of the first concerts held with the final X members
was in April 1987...
In 1989 X had their major debut with the singel "Kurenai" and soon
after with the album "Vanishing Vision"...
The rest is well known to us I guess...
Unfortunately Toshi decided in Spring 1997 to leave the band, and on the
22nd of September 1997 the official disbanding was announced...
X-Japan had their last live on the 31st of December 1997 in Tokyo Dome.
Forever X!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hairspray!

Especially in the beginning X did a lot to support the hairspray
industry as you can see in the picture above where Hide chan fights
with Yoshiki's hair... (laugh)...
As you can see in the other picture (Music Station Super Live Dec. 1993)
Hide chan became the only one who still helped the hairspray industry...
too bad... (laugh)
